Ember, Over Time My Adventures Have Changed But I Still Need Them

Hi Ember, your ancestors, and that includes me, were Rovers with a taste for adventure. Consider your great-grandfather Oopy (sic). He moved from Holland to northern B.C… and let's not forget your mother. By the time she was six months old, she had travelled by plane, boat and helicopter. Before she was ten she had lived on Ivory Island Light station and in Richmond, Abbotsford and Kitamaat Village. As for her later adventures, best you talk to her. 

And now that I have laid the groundwork, here's a video about my new adventure. Very different indeed than my younger days, but still a much-needed adventure.

You will, hopefully, grow up strong enough to choose your own path. You may choose to be a settler and stay in one place. Or the call of your roving ancestors may entice you? Whatever path you choose, I offer this advice.

It it's not illegal, immoral or too fattening give it a shot. And if you fnd you like it, do it again!
